Our Story
DSK Naturals was founded by Diana SK, driven by a deep desire to understand why existing systems
often fail to address rural instability and economic hardship. Rather than responding to the
symptoms of poverty, Diana envisioned a new possibility one where poverty would have no space to exist.
She found the idea of creating resilience far more powerful than simply eradicating poverty.
This philosophy became the foundation of DSK Naturals.
The Journey
In early 2013, Diana stepped away from her corporate career and embarked on a journey across rural India.
Over the next two and a half years, she lived with bottom of the-pyramid families across different regions,
gaining firsthand insight into the relationship between livelihoods, development, and sustainability.
These experiences shaped a deeper understanding: meaningful change must be built from the ground up—by
strengthening local capacities, restoring natural systems, and enabling communities to thrive independently.
Rooted in Rural India
Since August 2017, Diana has been living and working in Hoskote taluk,
a drought prone region in rural Bengaluru,
Karnataka one of the driest and most economically challenged districts in the country.
Here, DSK Naturals actively focuses on:

Founder’s Note
DSK Naturals was never conceived as a business alone it began as a question.
After years in the corporate world,
I felt compelled to understand why so many systems designed to create progress
often leave the most vulnerable behind. That question led me away from boardrooms and into rural India,
where I spent over two and a half years living alongside families whose lives were shaped by the land,
the seasons, and resilience born of necessity.
What I witnessed was not merely hardship,
but an extraordinary strength an inherent wisdom in the way communities understood nature,
food, and survival. I realised that true transformation does not come from reacting to poverty,
but from creating conditions in which it simply has no place to exist.
DSK Naturals was born from this belief.
Since 2017, my work has been rooted in Hoskote taluk, a drought-prone region of rural Karnataka.
Here, alongside farmers and local leaders, we have focused on restoring natural agricultural practices,
strengthening livelihoods, and reviving trust in the purity of what we grow and consume.
To me, agriculture is not just about nourishment. It is a powerful force that has shaped civilizations,
cultures, and collective memory. When approached with respect and intention,
it has the ability to heal both people and the planet.

It carries the story of the soil it comes from, the hands that cultivate it,
and a commitment to purity that goes beyond certification or trend.
